Math games are one of the most popular programs today. The reason for this is that children tend to memorize the calculations and the process because they are having fun. This is considered the better way of making children learn Subtraction, Division and Multiplication tables. Before, we only used cards or make the kids solve a problem and give them prize afterwards as motivating factor. This is a very different style of teaching compared to the classic Multiplication cards but it is effective non-the-less. For students at a higher level like high school and college, they answer these math programs for the challenge of it.
But it does not mean it is not fun. Some race with others to get the highest score, some programs have a difficult level in solving that the student feels the need to answer it for self satisfaction. The most common and popular among high school and college are the ones where if you solve the problem you pop a balloon.
Simple enough but as the balloons increase in number that is where the fun begins, this helps student develop fast thinking and help enhance their memorization because you should always remember you multiplication table. There are times that some older student play math based programs with cartoon characters because either it was the character they grew up with as a child or maybe it is just out of curiosity.
There is no better way for a student to learn a lesson than having fun. That is why most students prefer some classes to others because they have a fun experience during their lessons.
